Blog #6: Immigrants DNA at the Border

In the latest of the Trump Administrations invasion of privacy, they want a regulation that would give border patrol officers to take DNA from immigrants detained at the border. They want to send the DNA to the FBI to store in case it's need fro criminal investigation. Advocates told the New York Times that this is an invasion of peoples privacies and it taking advantage of immigrants. Knowing what the Trump Administrations feelings about immigrants, we know they want the DNA to keep track of the immigrants here in America.

Blog #1: Citizenship to children of Gov. employees

This week I came across an interesting article.  It caught my attention because of how unfair I feel it is. CNN published an article pertaining this new policy the Trump Administration is planning on pursuing. This new policy basically states that children of government employees or military members born overseas will no longer be able to have citizenship automatically. They would have to apply for citizenship through a parent. I found this unfair because military members are overseas serving our country, the least we could do is make their children US citizens rather than denying citizenship at birth. Blog #10: France and Immigrants

This week I decided to focus on France. Their municipal elections are around the corner and as time flies the current French president, Emmanuel Macron, is trying to win voters and shift them from voting for the far right candidate. He has been doing this my announcing new immigration reforms that are much stricter.
